James J. Webb

James J. Webb is a partner at Cohn & Dussi, based in the firm’s Florida office.

Jim’s practice has centered on commercial litigation, including representation of creditors in state and bankruptcy courts.

He has significant experience in commercial foreclosure and collections, equipment lessor rights, and exemption-claim litigation. He has also handled multiple appeals resulting in published decisions that strengthened creditor rights under Florida law.

Before joining Cohn & Dussi, Jim practiced at Mitrani Rynor Adamsky & Toland, where he represented creditors in commercial litigation matters across Florida.

Jim earned degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of Florida, where he graduated with honors. He later earned his law degree, also with honors, from the University of Florida College of Law.

During law school, he received top academic awards in Torts and Employment Discrimination and served as a Teaching Fellow.

Jim is admitted to the Florida Bar and to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
